Centered, 2024 Oil on Linen 11x14" Hand crafted gold museum frame.
This painting is an allegory on strength, and how we shoulder large burdens with grace. The large flower is oversized for the foundational vase, yet it manages to flourish.
It is a reference to how we may carry a heavy load in life, yet can still bloom. I love how seemingly simple objects can represent much more than initially perceived.
